I shot over 1,400 images Saturday, starting with
registration and weigh-in, and finishing up with the
contest end that evening. After culling out the bad
images, I wound up with over 1,200 keepers. Most of
the images feature multiple participants, so each
participant appears in at least two dozen photos.
I was the guy running around the stage
Saturday morning, taking all those photos in the
registration room, and shooting from the judges
table that evening. I shot photos of every
contestant. If you were in multiple divisions you'll
have even more photos on the CD!
Whenever possible, I took photos of the
individual poses, group poses, award presentations
and more. Many competitors noticed me taking
photos and played to the camera (the resulting
images are great!) |
All divisions, everybody in those divisions, and
every time they were on stage - there are photos of
everything - over 1,200 images! The CD is
divided into six categories:
- Prejudging Men
- Prejudging Women
- Evening Show Men
- Evening Show Women
- Prep / Registration Room
- Random Photographs

There are two versions available, each containing
all the images (almost 1,500 total):
- A CD with each image in two sizes:
medium, suitable for full screen viewing or
high-quality medium size prints, and thumbnail
(same size as smaller images above right). This
small size is suitable for website use.
- A DVD with each image in four sizes:
Large, Medium, Small and Thumbnail (small
and thumbnail are both for website use.)
All images were individually
resized in Photoshop for optimum quality.
Everything on the CD is also on
the DVD. What's the right copy for you? If you
only need medium size prints or wish to view the
images on your computer, the CD is fine. If
you want high-quality enlargements, plus the small
size for websites, then you'll want the DVD.
Again, both versions have every photo I took.
If you intend on having prints made at the local
CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, etc. using the photo kiosk,
you may need a CD and not a DVD. You can still
order the DVD - you'll just have to burn a CD
containing the images you'll want to print.

Information: You can do whatever
you wish with the images. Make as many copies as you
want, put them on your business cards, on your
website. They are yours to use however you want.
My only request is that if someone wants the CD or
DVD, is to please send them here to order a copy.
